Job description:

Due to the continued success of Cherry Tree Nurseries during these hard times of the Covid-19 pandemic we have a job opening starting end of January/February 2021.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established team and work closely with the Nursery Manager and the team.

We are looking for a dynamic, well organised, mature individual to work as part of our toddler team to provide for care and welfare of the children in our Nursery. The successful candidate will support the whole Early Years Team to ensure the day to day smooth running of the nursery.

We have an excellent reputation and we want to maintain the excellent standards that the nursery has already been accredited for when we received a Good in all areas in our last two Ofsted inspections along with our 10 consecutive years of obtaining our five star food hygiene award.

You will be someone who is enthusiastic, dynamic and focused on delivering excellent standards of care with a natural ability to see tasks that need attending to.

You will receive in house training on the Ofsted standards and all other legislative bodies. All relevant training for the position is provided. A willingness to attend courses and a flexible working approach is absolutely essential.

Key responsibilities:

To assist the room leader , ensuring a smooth day to day running of the nursery

Ability to demonstrate responsibility and use your own initiative

Safeguard the children at all times

Professional Duties:

To undertake all care and domestic activities

To assist early years practitioners in the development of and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum

To assist in the preparation of learning activities

To help maintain an attractive and well organised environment

To help create and maintain purposeful, orderly and productive working atmosphere.

To attend staff meetings when appropriate.

Hours:

Working hours: 38.75 hour per week, Monday to Friday. Various shifts between 8am to 6pm

Salary:

Salary: Dependant on age, qualification and experience
